Dashboard alerts provide updates on the submission status, and if applicable, the approval status of tasks submitted in Anchorbase. They are intended to help officers, advisers and other leadership stay on top of the tasks which need the most immediate attention.
The first kind of alert is the Due alert - this serves as a reminder to officers that they have a task which needs to be submitted by the provided due date:
The second alert is the Overdue alert - this should prompt officers to submit the task as soon as possible:
The final alert (when applicable) is the Approval alert - this alert will specify which adviser or Regional team member is expected to review and approve the submitted task:
Managing Overdue Alerts
Overdue alerts appear only when an event is on the calendar and a corresponding form submission does not exist. If your chapter will be holding the event, you need to complete the form indicated in the alert. The alert will automatically disappear after the form has been submitted and the event date and academic year indicated in the form match the event date and academic year of the approved Anchorbase calendar.
- Check your calendar. If there are events that were not/will not be held, please remove them from the calendar following this guide. After the Dashboard refreshes (up to 15 minutes), alerts for canceled events will disappear.
- Check the dates of submitted tasks. Dashboard notifications require the date of the event on the calendar and the date of the event in the Event Date field of the task to match exactly. If the task has an academic year question (usually the very first question), the academic year must also match the academic year of the calendar task.
- If the dates do not match, please correct either the calendar or the submitted task so the dates match. Be sure to submit all the way through the Receipt to save your changes.
Ex. If a Bid Day is scheduled for September 3 and the Bid Day Plan task is submitted with September 1 as the Event Date, the Bid Day Plan task will appear overdue on the Dashboard because the event dates on both the calendar and the form do not match.
If you still have questions, please submit a request to the IT team at Executive Offices for additional follow-up.
