Member appears in roster report but not in Manage Roster task

After submitting a roster change, the member may disappear from the Manage Roster task but the roster report does not update to reflect the change. This is because of one of two reasons:

  1. Certain roster changes require additional approval once submitted by a chapter officer and are not finalized until they are approved. During this time, the member will not appear in the Manage Roster task but will still appear on the New Member and Member Roster report, as they are not officially removed from the roster until the roster change is approved.
  2. The roster change was submitted with a future effective date and a member can only have one pending roster change at a time. The member will not appear in the task because of the pending roster change.

To verify the status of the submitted roster change, go into the Manage Roster task and when in Step: Selection, click the text "Show All Members" that appears above the roster change key.

Any member whose status change is pending approval or has a future effective date will display text that reads "Pending/Future change..." instead of the radio buttons.

Click on that text and you'll see the reason for why their status change is pending, either "Future" or "Waiting for approval".

If you see "Future", that means that the roster change will go into effect at a future date. You can see the effective date in the far right column of the above screenshot.

If you see "Waiting for approval", the roster change will first need to be approved by the ATC and/or the CSS at Executive Offices before going into effect. Only after a roster change has gone into effect will the member fall off of the various roster reports in Anchorbase.
